Rocky Mountain Ethics Consulting, LLC (“RMEC”) is headed by Jane T. Feldman. An attorney with over 30 years of experience in public service, Jane was the first Executive Director of the Colorado Independent Ethics Commission from 2008-2014. In 2014, she founded RMEC and assisted a city in Colorado with the investigation and enforcement of the City’s ethics code and with the revision of the Code. During this time she also served as an appointed member of the Denver Board of Ethics, and assisted with the revisions of Denver’s code of ethics as well.
In 2015, Jane moved to Albany, New York to serve as the Executive Director of the Office of Ethics and Compliance in the New York State Assembly. She served in that capacity for eighteen months, and then she returned to Denver to reestablish RMEC.
Jane has been an active member of the Council of Government Ethics Laws (“COGEL”), and served as President of that organization, as well as a member of the Steering, Program, and Membership Committees of that organization.
